First born

Everything originates first in the mind and all things are born there primarily. After the thought has occurred, manifestation happens.

If you understand this basic thing, then you can understand that thoughts matter more than you can imagine. Every thought you have is very important and controlling our thoughts is the toughest thing to do for anyone. But is it impossible?

No. One can control and become aware of each and every thought they have slowly through mindfulness. If you think you can't do it, you must. Give yourself 5 minutes everyday to sit and breathe with awareness and review what sort of thoughts are running through your head.

Clean the clutter is not something we do just for cleaning our cupboard or desk, but also for our mind. Clean the clutter of thoughts running amok in your mind.

Be gentle to yourself if you can't sit still. Rome wasn't built in a day. Just keep doing it and it will happen.

Moreover, always remember from this day on, check all your thoughts. Stop the ones that do you no good and take control of your mind.

Anywhere, anytime

With things becoming more and more commercial, everything has a price. Any sort of healing or wellness costs money. The fact is that Meditation is inexpensive and can be done by anyone and anywhere.

The best way to get rid of stress is to sit down calmly wherever you are with your eyes closed and take a few deep breaths. It really isn’t so difficult but we make it so. How? We are always so busy and we always have so much to do.

Just because the yogis went into the mountains to meditate does not mean you have to, too. One can meditate anywhere and at any time. You only require one thing, the desire. That is, the desire for peace, the desire to sit with yourself instead of a thousand others, the desire to quieten the mind, the desire hear your inner voice.

Meditation is yoga for the mind, just as there is yoga of the body.

If you are at office and do not have time for this, remember, if there is a will, there is a way. Do this quick meditation anywhere, anytime.

Just hold a ruler in your hand and close your eyes. As you take deep breaths and the brain waves slow down, you will soon seem to lose your grip on your ruler. Let it drop and remain seated with eyes closed. Feel that sense of freedom. After a few minutes, take a few deep breaths, inhale and as you exhale count from 1 to 5 and slowly open your eyes. Stretch and smile! Feel better than before.

A new beginning

How do we get from a place of getting all ruffled when things get derailed and life goes awry to a more deeper understanding of what really is? The only way to balance out ALL our emotions is through meditation and awareness; by being aware of everything that happens to us, with us and within us.

Accepting that we get angry is very important. Accepting that there are fears within us is very important. Accepting that we do resent certain people; that we tend to blame someone for our problems or troubles is very important. Thereafter, understanding these feelings; digesting them; finding a way to get them out of our system and throwing it out from our body and subsequently, from our mind. Just like we throw trash in the dustbin or the way our body gets rid of the waste once it has absorbed all that which was necessary for our body.

The book is a tool with some simple tips and releases some myths about meditation so that you may find this wonderful heaven inside you. Anytime you have a question that you have, you can always get in touch with us and we can work together towards something better for you. We are here to help each other. If there is a competition or race to win or lose in this universe, remember this: We are all here to win! There are no losers. You are a winner, just like everyone else!
